About the Role

As a Financial and ERP Analyst at Serco, you would support the U.S. Navy’s Undersea Technology programs by managing and analyzing financial data that drives strategic defense initiatives. Your primary responsibility would be to process transactions within the Navy’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, helping ensure accurate tracking of budgets, obligations, and expenditures across multi-million-dollar research and development efforts. You’d create and maintain financial databases, generate reports, and reconcile spending plans to align with Resource Management Plans, ensuring accountability and transparency for government funds.

In this role, you’d also collaborate with financial managers, analysts, and program leaders to support budget forecasting, congressional budget exhibit preparation, and the Navy’s Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes. Your day-to-day tasks would include compiling data for briefings, tracking funding transfers, supporting audits, resolving discrepancies, and providing timely responses to financial data calls. Ultimately, your work would contribute directly to the success of cutting-edge undersea technologies, supporting both national security and the Navy’s mission.
