Adsorption Research, Inc. (ARI), is headquartered in Metro Columbus, Ohio, focuses on developing technologies that remove contaminants, such as carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and oxygen from biogas. ARI is also focused on emerging global needs, like CO2 capture, gas purification and/or re-use for industry, water purification, and air quality enhancement.

The Marketing Manager will execute marketing strategies which will enhance ARI’s visibility and sales. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, analyzing market trends and exploring the market for new opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external partners to increase and retain sales and marketing goals.
Develop, execute and measure marketing campaigns across digital, print and other platforms
Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitor activities and industry trends
Collaborate with team members to develop promotional materials, advertisements and content.
Support marketing activities including, but not limited to, tradeshow planning, advertising, engagement with 3rd parties to further sales & marketing objectives, and working with existing marketing vendor base.
Track and analyze marketing activities using KPI’s (e.g., ROI, lead generation)
Prepare regular reports on market performance and market conditions
Develop strategies to increase company revenue and growth and identify new business opportunities
Sales Management:
Serve as point of contact for potential and new customers and answer all new inquiries
Collect data and collaborate with the Vice President, Commercial Operations on the proposal process for both new and current projects
Manage customer relationships, as required
Serve as primary contact for customers regarding tradeshows, activities and events
Collect sales metrics, analyze and present results to senior leadership team
Cross Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with all internal teams to drive the alignment of effort as appropriate
Provide insights, reports and communication based on data analysis and feedback from various sources
Use analytics tools to assess effectiveness and recommend adjustments to strategy as required
Qualifications and Skills:
B.S. Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications are a plus
5-7 years’ progressive experience in brand and channel marketing or a related field
Strong understanding of sales channels or marketing platforms e.g., Google Analytics) or similar
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
Creative problem-solving and adaptability when conditions dictate change
Excellent oral and written communication skills
